Amplifying Our Stories at #CMWorld

Tell Your Story was at Content Marketing World 2013 in Cleveland earlier this month, enjoying keynotes, break out sessions, Lunch and Learns and connecting with friends, old and new.  Attendees had the opportunity to take part in some fantastic content conversations throughout the conference, whether they were on site and in person or following #CMWorld and watching the live streaming sessions from a distance.  We're so glad Tell Your Story was there to be part of the “Amplify Your Story” dialogue.  Here are a few of our favorite pictures from the conference.  Visit us on Facebook to see more #CMWorld photos.   [caption id="attachment_1629" align="aligncenter" width="614"] Joe Pulizzi and George at #CMWorld[/caption] [caption id="attachment_1632" align="aligncenter" width="368"] Jonathan Mildenhall of Coca Cola talks Liquid Storytelling[/caption] [caption id="attachment_1635" align="aligncenter" width="512"] George at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame[/caption]  ...

[caption id="attachment_1514" align="alignleft" width="300"] Photo cred: Stockvault.net[/caption] This Friday is the first day of summer. Time for vacations. Time for relaxation. Time to hit the beach and leave the day-to-day stresses behind. The advent of summertime brings to mind our need for a break.  But that’s not always possible in the midst of deadlines and projects and, well, life. Or, is it? The truth is, there are many ways to de-stress at work that only take a few minutes.  Here are a few great examples:   Be proactive.  “Get a head start” and “wake up earlier” are recommended to reduce your overall stress. [caption id="attachment_1339" align="aligncenter" width="300"] Source: Facebook[/caption]   What does Facebook’s revamped News Feed have to do with your brand? Everything.   Over the past decade, social media outlets have created a world where oversharing or “TMI” is widely accepted and encouraged. Social media has grown to play a major part in our lives; whether in the personal or business world, social media has made its mark and has proven its importance when it comes to communicating and promoting a message.   On February 8th, we attended the 2013 ChicagoAuto Show for the Social Media Preview Day. While decked out cars and the latest in automotive technology were prominently showcased, the power of social media was the focus and spotlight of the day.   In attempt to reach a bigger audience and promote the exciting schedule of events that cater to the media savvy, the Chicago AutoShow rebranded this day to a more Twitter-friendly, #SMP13 and #CAS13.
